Food/Drinks

½ day – Half day trips include snacks (fruit, chips, etc) and drinks (water, beer, sodas) as well as all fishing gear.

The boat departs from Tamarindo beach right next to Chiringuito Restaurant. Here your crew will meet you and taxi you over to greet the 34 ft Island Hopper.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a novice, brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping adventure as you reel in the catch of a lifetime amidst stunning ocean vistas.

The Rhino Charger is a 31-foot on the waterline (34-foot overall length) Island Hopper powered by a 450hp turbo diesel Cummings engine in pristine condition. With a top speed of 30 knots, the Rhino Charger Charter Boat can reach Costa Rica’s Continental Shelf in thirty minutes. Custom designed in 2005, the American built Rhino Charger sports a tremendous 12.5-foot beam, which translates into smooth dry rides. The huge open fishing cockpit provides plenty of room for everyone. The Rhino Charger is the only boat in the Tamarindo fleet equipped with a flybridge. The flybridge and covered cockpit provide plenty of cool shade in which to relax. Below deck a V berth cabin and bathroom ensure everyone is comfortable. Extremely stable and able to safely withstand anything the sea can dish out, the Rhino Charger is as tough as her name.

– Effective start date: select your fishing date on the pop up calendar

– Fill in Name, Last name, Passport number

– Email: you may use the same email address for everyone in your party

– Country: preselected is Costa Rica. Please change this to the country that issued your passport. – The United States in Spanish is ESTADOS UNIDOS.

– Type of fishing card: Practice sport fishing from a boat 8 days $16.95

– Click on Process Request at the bottom of the page.

– Repeat the process for the other people in your party, click Add Additional Request.

Step 2

– Enter payment details: only name. last name and email, the rest can be left blank.

Accept the terms of use – Click Request Process

– This takes you to the payment page. Please make a note (or take a screenshot) of the page so you’ll have a record of the Order Number and Amount in case you get an error message. Take a screenshot or note before you click pay!

– Select Visa or Mastercard, fill in your credit card information and click Pay.

– You then get the confirmation page and can download the licenses. You should also receive these by email but I have found that to be unreliable at times. Best to download them. You can keep the PDFs on your phone, screenshot them or print them out. Please also carry your passport, or a copy.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

– Fully refundable if canceled 8+ days prior to the reservation start date.
– Reservations canceled 4-7 days prior to the reservation date will receive a 50% refund. Modifications are subject to availability.
– Modifications and cancellations made 0-3 days prior to the reservation date are 100% penalized and non-refundable.
