This tour is a perfect combination of the coffee tradition and a nighttime wildlife adventure in Monteverde. Visitors will learn more about the process of making coffee, the most interesting aspects of chocolate, and also explore the nocturnal wildlife that you generally would not get to experience during the day.

Coffee Tour
It is in the coffee plantation where visitors have the opportunity to know the coffee plants and depending on the season, the flowers and fruits.
Throughout the interesting coffee process, that ranges from baby plant care to the roasting, we reveal simple but important “secrets” that will enable the visitor to choose a good coffee when they return home.
We do not put aside the taste of our great coffee. We will show our visitors the simplest and easiest way to prepare a delicious cup of coffee.
Mini Chocolate Tour
Cacao has been one of the greatest legacies of our indigenous ancestors. It is the basic component of chocolate, which is appreciated throughout the world today because of exquisite taste and important properties. On this tour we show you the most interesting aspects about the chocolate in a delightful way.
Fun in the Jungle
The goal at this stage of the tour is the observation of the nocturnal wildlife, which normally cannot be seen during the day.
It takes place in the protected forest that actually is about 50% of our property. It extends along a creek that runs through the farm where we have the coffee plantation.
It is common to observe frogs, sloths, various insects and other species. Your guide will guide you safely and use his professional experience to help you spot the cooleste critters hidden among the plants!

Pick up times above are an estimate. We will send you an official pick up time the day before the tour. Please be ready outside 10 minutes before your scheduled pick up time, but it can take up to 10 minutes longer depending on the day’s pick up schedule and traffic.
Special Notes
- The minimum to operate the shared tour is 2 people, if we don’t meet the minimum we will send options 1 or 2 days before
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- We operate this tour rain or shine!
- Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
