The 31′ Bertram is a game fisher built in Costa Rica in 1987. The hull is made out of wood and covered by fiber glass which makes it better to raise fish. Powered by a single engine 350 Yanmar diesel, the boat comes fully equipped – VHF Marine radio, fish finder, top quality tackle such as Penn International, Fin-Nor, & Shimano Tiagra. This boat is very stable, spacious and has plenty of shade ready to take you for an experience that you’ll remember for ever.

3/4 & Full Day
This 9 hour excursion is for fishermen that want to go after Marlin or Sailfish. We might start off fishing on the reef and then going offshore or we start running immediately to get where the big fish are.
Half Day
The duration of this trip is 5 hours and is usually an inshore fishing trip out on our local reef located about 4 miles SSW of Tamarindo Beach. The targets are Red Snapper, Rooster Fish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi) and Wahoo but occasionally we do hook up a Sailfish, Marlin or Yellow fin Tuna.

Special Notes
– A fishing license is required for every passenger – $16.95 per person – detailed instructions sent upon confirmation.
– This charter operates Rain or Shine! In the event of severe weather conditions we will contact you with options.
– Even if you don’t generally get sea sick, we recommend that children and inexperienced anglers take something to help alleviate those symptoms. It is always better to prevent this from happening.
– Pricing applies to adults and children. Children must be accompanied by an adult
– Gratuities for the captain and crew are not included. We recommend 10% – 20%.
– If you want to bring your cell phone or keys, please understand we are not responsible for loss or damag
Cancellation Policy
– Fully refundable if canceled 31+ days prior to the reservation start date.
– Reservations canceled 21-30 days prior to the reservation date will receive a 50% refund. Modifications are subject to availability.
– Modifications and cancellations made 0-20 days prior to the reservation date are 100% penalized and non-refundable.
