This is a mixture of adventure and lots of flora and fauna. All the Maleku tour has to offer, plus a visit to the Ecological park to see some wildlife up close and personal, as well as the lava rock fields and a small lake at the base of the volcano.

It is a mixture of nature, vegetation, adventure, wildlife, all in one guided experience, with steps through the forest, time to bathe in the Arenal RIver and a magnificent place for lovers of photography. You will be able to enjoy unique landscapes and discover the history, nature, and culture of the northern zone. Along the way you will see the breathtaking Arenal Volcano and the incredible views of the Fortuna Valley.
The tour will continue to the amazing and secret place of Maleku, which is a group of indigenous people of the region. Here you will be able to enjoy a passionate cultural interpretation performed by the Maleku people. The next destination to visit is the ecological park, a place awarded for its positive impact on the environment. This is the perfect place to relax and be transported to the habitat of the green Macaw, sloths, monkeys, among many other animals.

You will need to meet here at the Outback ATV La Fortuna – your meeting time will be sent the day prior to your tour.

Please provide the exact name of your hotel, house or condo upon booking, as well as a google maps link. If your hotel, house, or condo is not included, we will provide you with the closest meeting location or pick up fee.
Pick ups begin approximately 45 minutes before the start of your tour. We will send you an official pick up time the day before the tour. Please be ready outside 10 minutes before your scheduled pick up time, but it can take up to 10 minutes longer depending on the day’s pick up schedule and traffic
Special Notes
- Minimum age: 5 years. Children from 5 to 11 years old will be accompanied by a guide. – Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- The driver must carry (without exception) his valid driver’s license to be able to
take the tour. - The activity is restricted to people with severe heart conditions, operations recent (less than 6 months), whose weight is greater than 140 kg, and/or women pregnant.
- The activity is prohibited to people who are under the influence of alcohol or any narcotic.
- Due to the nature of the activity and for the safety of our clients requires following the instructions of the guide in charge. Disobeying the instructions will give result in the cancellation of the participant without the possibility of reimbursement.
- In case of adverse weather conditions (heavy rains, lightning, alerts
amber/red weather conditions) we proceed with the cancellation of the activity. In case of that the activity has elapsed a journey of more than 1 hour, we proceed with the50% refund. If the activity has not elapsed, the activity is rescheduled or proceed with full refund.
